Tags and tag structures

In the video below we will talk about how to create tags and a tag structure in GO+

Areas of use

Categorize users: Tags can be used to group your users based on various variables, such as location, department and jobtitle. You can give your users tags directly on their profile.

If you have Self-registration, the user can select tags or sub-tags from predefined tags you have selected for the self-registration.

Targeting courses: The tags can then be used to target courses to different types of users based on what kind of tags they has.
This is done under Courses> Change availability

If you want to group your users into different unrelated categories, you can create several tag trees. Multiple tag trees enable courses to be targeted at users who meet more than one requirement.
