Using AI Assistance to Generate a Course
The built-in AI assistant offers two ways to generate the foundation of a new course:
1) Generate a Course from a Topic or Text
- Enter a topic or paste text (up to 500 characters).
- Choose the language and preferred tone (playful, neutral, or professional).
- Click "Create course!" to generate content.
2) Generate a Course from a PDF
- Upload a PDF file from your device.
- Click "Create course!" to process the content.
Within minutes, the AI assistant will generate a course with up to 5 chapters, each containing questions to assess learner understanding.
AI Processing & Data Handling
Course content is generated through OpenAI. Any text or files used for course generation may be logged in their system for up to 30 days.
Refining Your AI-Generated Course
Once the AI-generated course is ready, review and refine the content:

Edit Images:
- Replace AI-suggested images with your own.
- Upload free images from Unsplash i.e..
- Click "Edit content" to modify course materials.

Review and Adjust Chapters:
- View all generated chapters on the left-hand side.
- Preview the course to see how it looks.
- Reorder chapters by hovering over them until a white hand appears—then drag and drop to rearrange.

Add More Elements:
- On the right-hand side, access additional course elements.
- Insert more text, images, videos, quizzes, or other interactive components.

Further AI Assistance:
- Use the "Generate with AI" button at the bottom of the Workspace to refine or expand content.
