Another common cause of Storyline crashes is a corrupted project file. Corruption can occur when working on courses that are stored on an external server during creation, editing, and publishing. Latency issues can irreversibly damage individual slides or entire courses. Therefore, we recommend always saving courses locally (e.g., on the desktop) and working with versioning.
